Spec 01

First stop on arrival

Recreational vehicle travellers are welcome at every SIGA casino, and the Bear Claw lot north of Carlyle handles them the same way. Arriving guests should carry a SIGA Rewards card and report first to the Guest Services desk. The desk may ask for the vehicle's licence plate, the guest's name and contact details. Staff may also want the head count of visitors, the intended length of the visit and, when it is an extended stay, the reason behind it. The stay is then approved by security or by the Casino Shift Manager.

Stalls on the Bear Claw lot go to guests in the order they arrive. No booking is accepted, so a stall cannot be held before arrival. SIGA Rewards membership is free, and the same card is honoured across the seven SIGA casinos.

Spec 02

Power, tents and the fire rule

Of the spots, 6 have electric hookups at 110V. The rest have none, and no spot can be reserved, so power on arrival is not guaranteed. Any rig that relies on plugging in should arrive with a plan to manage without it. Tents may be pitched on the lot's grassy areas.

Fire pits with open flames are not allowed anywhere on the Bear Claw lot. Drinks with alcohol stay inside the RV, never out in the stall or on the surrounding grass. The lot provides garbage disposal. Tidying the spot before departure is written into the rules, not left as a courtesy.

Spec 03

Length of stay and lot conduct

A stay has no set maximum length, but two conditions apply. Campers cannot be left unattended in their stalls for an extended period, and guests have to return to their campsite every evening. As mentioned above, Guest Services may ask the reason for an extended stay.

The Bear Claw RV lot has no room for loud music or parties. Panhandling and solicitation are banned there as well. Inside, the gaming floor runs daily from 11 am until midnight, and nobody under 19 may gamble or collect winnings. Bear Claw does not post its holiday schedule, so the field desk suggests calling the casino at 306-577-4577 to ask.

FAQ

Questions from the field

Is it possible to hold a spot before arriving?

A spot on the Bear Claw lot cannot be booked in advance. The casino takes no reservations: the earliest arrival gets the stall. On arrival, RV guests bring a SIGA Rewards card to Guest Services, where the stay gets set up.

Does every RV spot have an electrical hookup?

Only 6 spots have electric hookups, and they run at 110V. The remaining spots have no hookup, and the powered ones cannot be reserved.

Are campfires allowed on the lot?

Open fire pits are not permitted anywhere on the lot, whether for RVs or for tents on the grass.

Can a camper stay parked while its owners travel for a few days?

Campers are not to be left unattended in their stalls for an extended period. Even though the lot puts no cap on the total length of a stay, guests are required to be at their campsite each evening.
