Spec 01

The floor and its four denominations

Bear Claw's floor runs from 11 am until midnight, every day of the week. SIGA counts 133 slot machines there. Four denominations are accepted: 1 cent, 5 cents, 25 cents and $1. For holiday hours, which Bear Claw leaves unpublished, the field desk points readers to the casino line, 306-577-4577.

At SIGA casinos, nobody under 19 may gamble or collect winnings, since each such person is a prohibited individual. Saskatchewan time governs every clock reading given for Bear Claw here. The province holds Central Standard Time year-round and never changes its clocks. Midnight on the Bear Claw floor thus comes at the same hour on every date.

Spec 02

Electronic tables and the dealer's shift

The Circuit is the part of Bear Claw set aside for electronic table games. Its four games are Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette and Three-Card Poker. Between 4 pm and midnight, a live dealer handles the Circuit.

Until 4 pm, the same tables run in auto play with no live dealer. Someone walking in at the 11 am opening finds the tables in auto play. At 4 pm the dealer steps in and stays until the floor closes at midnight. Each time here is Saskatchewan time, and Central Standard Time applies there in every season.

Spec 03

Two kitchens and the late pour

Growlers Restaurant offers full service to all ages, 11:30 am to 9 pm daily, and takes takeout orders at 306-577-4577. The Deli & Bar handles casual food from the Kookum's Kitchen menu, along with spirits and pints. SIGA Lager and SIGA Lite are poured there as the house beers.

The Deli & Bar opens at 11 am daily. Sunday through Thursday it closes at 11:30 pm, and the last call is 11 pm; Friday and Saturday it closes at 12:30 am, after a midnight last call. SIGA Rewards members pay 10% less on food orders at the restaurant and the deli. Guest Services keeps the box office going 7 days out of 7, from 10 am to midnight. Each event there is 19+.
